About Da Shaper:
​ Aloha, Shaper Duane Ignacio lives and shapes in Lahaina, He started shaping in 1993 under the In Deep Surfboards Logo which he created and was based in Central Maui Base yard off Mokulele Hwy. After shaping and glassing hundreds of boards, Duane went independent and created Di Surfboards Hawaii Logo in 2005 and shapes under his own personal label. As a graduate from Damien H.S. and University of  Hawaii-West Oahu, Business Administration Degree, on Oahu, He is a Licensed and Certified teacher for Hi D.O.E. As a Middle School Shop Teacher, you can find him surfing the Lahaina side all year around, as much passion he puts into surfing, it goes the same when he is designing and creating "Papa He'e Nalu", Surfboard, and educating the youths of the Lahaina community.
All of D i sufboard shapes and designs are hand shaped as well as surfboard C.A.D programed. All of the CAD file specs and dimz are all apart of  his hand shaped data.  Through the years his boards has been refined to ensure fun and function of every model surfboards.
